[Music]
hey hey hey guys it's Aikido came here
and today I am really excited about this
keto recipe we're making a keto yeast
bread and if you're new to my channel I
do a lot of keto recipes a few keto or
low carb information videos to help you
in your keto or low-carb journey so if
you're new considerably smashing and
subscribe button so you get notified
when I upload new awesome videos now the
difference of this keto yeast bread is
that we're making it in a brand maker
now I have a ton of great bread recipes
on my channel I'll put a link to the
playlist with all of my bread recipes in
the top corner of your screen now and
I'll also give you a link to my free
ebook which gives you the 7 best bread
and bun recipes out there absolutely
free to you so go ahead and download
that for yourself now typically bread
makers don't really work with keto
recipes because in the keto bread
recipes we don't have the yeast and the
gluten specifically the yeast which
needs some type of sugar to interact
with and to rise and therefore these
bread makers just don't work with these
keto bread recipes but I was determined
to find a bread recipe that works for
those living on a keto or low carb
lifestyle and will work in a bread maker
to give you that true high rise loaf of
bread and I think I have found it in
this keto recipe right here the
ingredients you'll need for this keto
yeast bread are some butter eggs a
sweetener of your choice I'm using a
wrister atoll xanthan gum flexi meal or
you could simply use whole flax seeds
and grind it up in your grinder some
vital wheat gluten some oat fiber salt
honey and some water
now know you may be thinking my goodness
half of those ingredients I've never
heard of I haven't used before and
rightly so we don't typically use it
these ingredients in your mojito or low
carb lifestyle but do not leave this
video because I promise you you're not
going to be disappointed with this keto
bread recipe these ingredients aren't
that expensive you buy them once and
they'll be able to make you a lot of
keto bread loaves I'll put links in the
description box below on where you can
find all of these ingredients at Amazon
if that's the place that you like to
shop and don't panic with the honey we
only use one teaspoon of it so it's not
going to shoot up the carbohydrate level
of the bread too much all right
so now that I've calmed all your fears
let's get to this keto yeast bread
alright guys and before I scare you away
when you say oh I don't have a brand
maker what can I do
first and foremost I'll put some links
to affordable yet good quality bread
makers in the description box below but
otherwise do what I did I got this off
Craigslist which is a local selling site
I picked this up for 10 bucks this is an
old machine so you don't need to spend a
fortune on getting a brand machine so
what you're gonna do is you can actually
put all your ingredients directly into
here but for the purposes of this video
I'm gonna take this out and then we just
kind of put the ingredients in here and
we'll start putting in here you see it's
got a little kneading utensils at the
bottom there which essentially needs and
blends the door essentially at the
bottom alright so as I said this is the
inside of the bread maker first and
foremost you need to follow the
instructions on the brand maker you get
on how you should layer the ingredients
my one says we need to put the water in
at the bottom so we're putting in 1 cup
or 240 mils of water now I've done this
just off of room temperature so probably
around 23 to 25 degrees Celsius and
we're going to be adding to lightly
beaten eggs to this mixture okay next
we're going to be using an ingredient
here which you probably can't see with
all the reflection is oat fiber now oat
fiber is not something I've used before
but we don't need to fear because the
nutritional ingredients here which you
definitely cannot read on there says
that per serving it's 3 grams of carbs
and 3 grams of fiber they
for it is zero grams of net carbs so
this does not increase the carbohydrate
content of this bread in fact it
increases the fiber content which is
great for your digestive health
so then we're going to be adding half a
cup of this oat fiber the next we're
using some flaxseed meal as I said
earlier you can simply take whole flax
seeds and pop them into your blender and
grind them up as fine as possible you'll
get flaxseed meal so you can absolutely
do that this is just a little more
convenient for me you're gonna be adding
2/3 of a cup of flaxseed meal and then
next up is some vital wheat gluten if
you can see that on there now ivana
wheat gluten in itself isn't only keto
friendly in terms of the macros here so
if you can read this on the back per
hundred grams it's 16 grams of carbs 4
of which are fiber so it's 12 grams of
net carbs per 100 grams now we are using
one and a quarter cups of this bottle
week mutant which is approximately 190
grams so this is where the majority of
the carbs come in this brand but again
check the description box below for the
final macros and ingredients list for
this keto yeast bread and you'll see the
net carbohydrate content of this bread
is actually pretty phenomenal and the
end result you guys are going to be
loving this both for taste and macro
nutrient wise so take a look in the
description box below so we running in
one and a quarter cups of this vital
wheat gluten okay and then we're going
to add in one teaspoon of pink Himalayan
salt now with these bread makers you're
meant to put these salts around the
outside of the containers and not
directly in the middle so pull that one
teaspoon of this pink Himalayan salt and
try and spread it around the outside all
right then we're adding in the sweetener
of choice I'm using erythritol here you
could use something like swerve which is
an original mix or knit erythritol blend
but it needs to be powdered so if you
don't have the powdered version which I
don't I just have this one here which is
the regular erythritol simply pop it in
your blender blend it up and it comes
out this beautiful fine powdered texture
because that's what you want again add
this in
usually for sugars you want to also add
it around the outside I know this isn't
sugar and doesn't act the same way but
I'm still going to add it around the
outside of the bread container okay and
next we're using honey
again don't freak out we're using one
teaspoon of this really it isn't a lot
but you do need this actual sugar
because this is what reacts with the
yeast and as far as my research tells me
the yeast itself actually eats up the
sugar so any sugar that does come from
this honey in terms of the carbohydrate
content gets eaten up by the yeast so it
actually reduces the carb or sugar
content in the actual bread I'm gonna
include the macros with this included
know in fact that the sugar coming from
this honey isn't gonna be ingested by
you all right and because this is the
sugar you gain want to try and put this
around the outside of the bread maker
all right and then we're adding xanthan
gum in here now we're adding just half a
teaspoon of this xanthan gum this just
helps with the texture of the bread now
again make sure to evenly distribute the
xanthan gum around this mixture don't
just dump it all in one place if you see
it a little too clumped in certain
places just give it a little mix around
and your finger to make sure it doesn't
sit in one bunch or one clump in here
and then we're going to be using two
tablespoons of butter now this needs to
be at room temperature just like the
eggs need to be at room temperature and
I've cut up this butter into little
pieces so we can more evenly distribute
this around the bread maker just like
that and then I'll final but arguably
one of the most important ingredients
here is this yeast now you need to add
in two tablespoons which is
approximately 8 to 8 and a half grams of
yeast now you want to buy the regular
active dry yeast you don't want to buy
the rapid rise yeast get take the
original traditional for this keto bread
recipe and the way you want to do this
is again you want this used to be away
from your salt from your sugar and
obviously from the water at the bottom
so what we're going to do is just make
it a little well
in the middle of here not going too deep
you don't want to hit the water okay and
then we're gonna take our two
tablespoons of yeast and pop it right in
the middle in that little will sorry
correction this is one tablespoon of
yeast that's approximately eight or
eight and a half grams of yeast we put
that in the middle in the well that we
made all right so we bring back your
bread machine take your basket make sure
it neatly fits on to the bottom and then
on this brand machine I'm just doing it
on the basic settings and I'm doing it
on a medium low and medium darkness for
the color of the loaf press Start and
that's it
let's lift this bread machine do its
magic and I'll see you back here in a
few hours
why am I excited for this three hours
later and you end up with a low carb
heater brand
[Music]
alright guys and just look at this my
goodness this is now a proper loaf right
you got that full height I mean if you
look at in comparison to my hand it's a
really good size if you look the bottom
is really nice and brown just a tiny bit
of deflation at the top but really not a
ton smells amazing smells like regular
bread he's gonna give us a cut to see
what it looks like inside and of course
give it a taste
alright guys here we go and the moment
of truth
firstly it feels like bread why are you
cutting rich oh my goodness guys just
take a look at that this feels exactly
like normal bread take a look at that
that's right
hello car bread that actually looks
smells like regular bread I could not be
more thrilled about this I mean really
guys there's not much not to love about
this
oh we just take a look at that the
texture on that is quite remarkable
feels soft it's not spongy it just feels
like a regular for bread and if you can
see it looks like a regular loaf of
bread and this is using that old brand
maker I got off Craigslist I think I
might be investing in a brand make it
for myself because this is on real but
of course let's get to a taste test of
this because hey it may look good but if
it doesn't taste any good and that's not
gonna work so I'm gonna try a bite of
this crust first
that is unreal guys this tastes like
normal bread someone gave this to me I
would not know that this was a low carb
bread 100% hmm this smells so good I
might just be the worst bread slicer in
the world cannot get a straight slice
here but seriously the feeling of being
able to cut through a loaf of bread like
this with a knife which I haven't done
in years is just remarkable just take a
look at this I mean really what more can
I say about this I'm almost speechless
all right guys and to look at this after
having cut up everything so if you
include even a piece of toast that I put
in the toaster that I've eaten already
and this last slice that I couldn't
quite get a proper slice out of because
it was the end of the loaf I've got 16
slices here and as I said I think I'm
the worst bread slicer in the world some
of these are pretty thick slices here so
I'm pretty sure you could get at least
18 slices out of this bread check the
description below for ingredients of
this recipe and for the macros and
you'll see how ridiculously good the
macros are I'll put right over here the
net carbs per slice of this bread just
so you guys know how amazing this bread
is you should be able to saw this just
like your regular bread so you could
keep it in the fridge you could keep it
out if it's covered if you put it in
like a bread bag or something along
those lines or you could just put it in
a ziploc bag bomb it in the freezer
then you've got key to a bread ready to
take on and pop in the toaster for a
quick piece of keto bread like that
thanks so much for watching guys if your
ads excited as I am about this keto
bread recipe please smash that thumbs up
