here just thinking no we're just a lot
of my forehead I just took my hat off
but this is the start of week three of
getting snatched I'm really excited I am
still sick if you watch week two you
know this it was just yesterday
so my throat hurts so bad I'm about to
rest but I wanted to make sure I went
grocery shopping because my exercise
this week I know is not going to match
what I did last week and I just feel
like I need to make up for that in my
diet because vacation starts Friday so I
really only have three days to get it
together so this is gonna be more like a
three day look instead of the whole week
because then there will be a travel vlog
which is so exciting
but I want to show you guys why I got
from the grocery store and what I plan
to do with this stuff broccoli which can
pretty much go with this or whatever
summer green means I also got this lemon
pepper chicken which I'm gonna use to
make ginger curry chicken noodle soup or
not chicken noodle soup just chicken
vegetable soup and since I am thick I'm
trying to you know I really like chicken
soup and always make it when I'm sick so
carrots for the soup as well
lemon 40 and the soup some tomato for
salad onion of course for everything
cucumber for salad I got some salmon and
a shrimp and then some tuna packs which
I'll probably talk on this page with
like the cucumber tomato avocado this is
ginger for what is it
let's do and then I don't know if I said
I was hot already but here's the avocado
cilantro for soup and some black beans
I'm going to make black beans and
tomatoes with like onions and avocado
and then I also have chickpeas back here
which I will be probably using just on
top of salad for breakfast I'll be
eating my chia seed hip hearts and
coconut like little green Bowl
maybe some oatmeal one day but it is
kind of high in carbs so I'm I don't
know maybe like half a pair
back in one of these and I'm really
hungry one morning of course with my
almond butter and then some fruit I got
watermelon cuz it was buy one get one
free and then I just am addicted to
blackberries like honestly I need to
grow my own blackberries because Wow
chicken broth for the soup and I'm
pretty sure that covers it well putting
some fruit in this container I'm
traveling tomorrow to get my hair
braided so I'm just gonna take this
container with me umm probably with some
tuna and salad and some soup
but of course I'll show you guys that
tomorrow for breakfast this morning I'm
going to eat some water element in a
couple blackberries oh man ruff-ruff day
I'm gonna have some sec for it is eleven
because my throat just right so that day
to week three I am making some curried
ginger chicken and vegetable soup I'm
just starting it off in this pot right
here and this has fresh ginger onions
garlic green beans I wanted to do green
beans instead of celery and carrots I'm
kind of just letting this come to a boil
I also have salt pepper this is in water
so far not any chicken stock and then
the curry seasonings I use this curry
powder does not have any salt also um
some red pepper flakes ground ginger and
some Italian seasoning so once this
comes to a boil I'm going to throw it in
the crock pot over there and then add in
the chicken stock and let that cook for
quite a bit and then I have some
rotisserie chicken um that I'm just
going to cut up and throw in there and I
just warm that got my soup y'all it is
kind of salty but that's kind of a good
thing since my throat is so where the
seesaw I
my own saw the chicken broth was
unsalted I feel like I just said salt
like a thousand times
but I didn't have any garlic and onion
powder and I feel like that definitely
makes a difference I did add in of
course a lot of seasonings but only
fresh onion and garlic so it's really
like oh it's good
yeah definitely tastes like health I'm
feeling a lot better just prepping some
food for tomorrow I ate quite a bit of
chicken soup today which I really think
helps but I'm gonna put the rest in this
container and in the morning I'm gonna
warm up some like really hot and then
put it in this thermos for lunch while
I'm in New York I'm also making a
spinach salad just with some tomato
cucumber and avocado a little cilantro
and then oil and vinegar salad so I'm
going to bring the whole avocado with me
and cut that up like right before I eat
it and then I'm just gonna add some
olive oil and balsamic vinegar in the
morning I don't want it to get too soggy
but this bad boy yet I feel like I am
doing the darn thing okay so then I have
my chicken soup some fruit and I feel
like that's enough for me to take
tomorrow the tuna down there I'll
probably take a pack of that just in
case I get hungry
and I plan on being back I mean before
dinner so I'll probably make salmon
tomorrow for dinner good morning to the
airport I know I mentioned last night
that I was feeling a lot better and I
was but overnight you know my sore
throat kind of moved from this side over
to this side now so yeah me my clan
still hurts over here but my throat is
not sore thankfully however the exact
same feeling I had on this side it's
over here
so I decided this morning to take some
medicine I hate taking medicine and not
because like I don't like taking pills
or something like that it's more so just
because I feel when you put things in
your body that just shouldn't be there
you know your body may not react to it
well so I usually never take medicine
whenever I get sick I just like dug it
out literally lots of tea chicken soup
lots of vitamin C and I really just let
whatever's going on run its course but
since I'm going on vacation I do not
want to feel like this on vacation if I
just had maybe like a cold like a stuffy
nose or something I could deal but the
whole sore throat thing just makes it
hard to laughs it hurts to laugh it
hurts to talk it hurts to swallow it
hurts you know so it's just like I have
been dealing with this since what Friday
it is now Wednesday yeah it's almost
been a week and I'm just like okay I'm
gonna take some medicine so I actually
had some medicine from 2000 and it's
like 18 yeah so just last year my doctor
had prescribed me some medicine um for
an ear infection because I had an ear
infection last year and it really
worried me because it was the first an
infection I ever had my ear had been
hurting for like weeks so I didn't know
what was wrong and I mean intentions are
really common among flight crew but
since I know
had one I was like well this is really
not a thing for me but anyway I had it
your infection in this year so she
prescribed me some medicine but she was
like you know if you don't want to take
it that's fine but if it gets worse go
ahead and take it ended up getting
better shortly after I got one to the
doctor so I did not end up taking it the
same medication you can use for sore
throat and so we're actually you can use
for strep I don't I don't think I have
strep
I'm not really sure honestly and I'm I
don't have time to go to the doctor and
find out so I just went ahead and took
some of the medicine the only issue is
whenever you take an antibiotic or a
steroid especially as a woman this may
be TMI but it probably will help
somebody you are prone to get a yeast
infection and so that's a big reason as
to why I do not take medication because
nobody wants a yeast infection like why
am I taking one medicine that's gonna
give me something else that I'm gonna
get hard to get another medicine for it
you know what I mean
I decided to take the medicine but I do
not want to be stiff ection so I want to
show you guys kind of what I did to
tweak my food that I'm packing honestly
don't plan on taking the entire dose of
the medication I know that sounds crazy
you're totally not supposed to do that
but that's probably what I'm doing
because yeah I'm not about to take the
whole thing like hopefully this first
little dose just kind of knots and
things in the place like okay maybe we
should start acting right like come on
white blood cells get it together but
I'm eating yogurt this is just plain
Greek yogurt it has like you know live
cultures probiotics and I added some
honey on top with the blackberry so
taking that with me I've also been
drinking kombucha I've been drinking
kombucha since yesterday because I had a
feeling that I may end up taking the
medicine today
so I kind of wanted to go ahead and get
right some kombucha and stuff in my
system I still have my tuna packed
avocado my shrimp and salad and in my
soup here so this is everything that I'm
bringing with me back at home guys oh my
hair
thank goodness I had the roughest time
this morning getting on a flight so I
didn't get home until like 11:00 and I
was really trying to be home at like
8:00 but um these are not less braids I
know this is not like a hair vlogger
anything but I'm sure I'm gonna get some
questions so yeah they're freaking
amazing they're so like light compared
to other braids and you know after you
get your hair braided like the first few
days there your head is like super sore
no like y'all see how I move in these
right like there is no I mean it's like
it's like okay there's something in my
head feeling but it's not even sore like
I put them in a bun and everything they
just move so freely I wanted to kind of
just to hear in the hammock real quick
and talk because while my foots warming
up because I posted the week to vlog a
few days ago and I've been getting a lot
of comments on there a lot of love and I
really appreciate it I just want to say
as a youtuber like we never like as a
new youtuber I know I never I've been
doing YouTube for I've been on YouTube
for like two years so I still consider
myself pretty new I'm not like I haven't
made this a whole career or anything
like that but it's really nice when you
like put work into a video especially a
vlog that's like a week long because
you're literally having to remember to
record and then people watch it I mean
there's times are like I've worked
really hard on videos and I don't get
that many views it's like dang like I
just spent a whole workday or like
multiple workdays on this video and it's
not getting as much love but I know that
on my channel like the health baby but I
know on my channel like the health and
fitness focus is where I get all the
action so I just wanted to say I really
appreciate the love on the keto videos
and just the overall health videos I
also kind of wanted to do like a little
disclaimer chitchat because I've been
getting quite a few comments of course
with more views come some more opinions
and I just want it to like lay down the
law here as to what
I what works for me I think when it
comes to health and fitness the only
thing you can do is what works for you a
lot of people come on my channel and
comment like this isn't Kido oh my gosh
I can't believe you're eating oatmeal
like mine your business okay
like so I just wanted to address some of
the things that people say and a lot of
times it's not rude but when it comes to
health in general if you're following a
certain diet tracking your macros is one
of the most important things and the
reason why is because when you track
your macros nothing is off-limits a lot
of people I think get confused with keto
thinking that you can just absolutely
like you can't have any carbs that is
really not the case like your body goes
into ketosis when you are consuming less
than 50 carbs per day okay so if you
were to go to a nutritionist and they
say and you say you know I want to start
keto of course they're going to give you
a meal plan that is extremely low in
carbs but once you figure it out you
will realize that it's all about your
macros like you can if you're sticking
to twenty five net carbs per day you can
have a freakin oatmeal pack the oatmeal
packs that I buy have 28 total carbs so
if I'm sitting 225 grams of net carbs
the oatmeal I eat also has 7 grams of
fiber so basically I'm still within my
net carbs for the day like I don't think
a lot of people get that I understand
that there's a lot of foods that I eat
that a lot of people on keto do not eat
but honestly I like a lot of food and
I'm not gonna cut that out my diet just
because I'm on keto what I'm going to do
is have it in moderation so if I want to
eat oatmeal one day a week I guess I
can't have any other carb that day or
I'm really just gonna have to so if I
want to eat oatmeal one day that's
exactly what I'm gonna do I'm gonna
figure out how much oatmeal I can eat
well
it's a half a packet if I want some
oatmeal that's what it's gonna be
Wow okay crayons in a change and
everything just fell out my bag some
other things I've been getting comments
on our like sauces when I cook chicken
and beef and stuff sometimes I'll use
sauces the majority of sauces do have
carbs so please keep in mind like I said
I track my macros in my fitness pal and
so I put every single ingredient
especially when I'm cooking I make sure
I log every single ingredient no matter
what me putting a freaking teaspoon of
barbecue sauce guys it's not gonna
freakin take me out of ketosis like you
I know that there's keto barbecue sauce
I get it
but if I don't have keto barbecue sauce
in my pantry and my refrigerator I'm not
gonna go out and buy some I'm just gonna
frickin log the macros to make sure that
I don't go over for the day okay so I
want I just want to keep that in mind
like do what works for you I don't I
don't follow a traditional keto you know
I'm saying like I make sure the way I do
not follow traditional keto I get that
lately I've been just doing more of a
low carb diet I wanted to put that out
there as well because I've been saying
keto low-carb but I guess a lot of
people are just like not even thinking
of the fact that I'm also saying Lokar
so keto is high fat low carb ok yes my
body may not be in like amazing ketosis
okay it may just be mild ketosis there's
different levels like there's mild
moderate you know I don't want to say
severe because that sounds that but
there's different levels to ketosis and
your body can be in my ketosis like if
you go from eating 150 carbs a day to
eating 40 carbs a day your body is gonna
go into ketosis okay
what's some other stuff I just want to
auto stop coming for me
because first of all I know what I'm
doing okay if you track your macros you
will - I have a new trick
so just like snot coming for me like
please okay
I'm also losing weight so honestly I'm
not trying to follow a keto diet to the
tee just because I want to do what works
for me and if eating this way works for
me that's what I'm going to continue
doing a lot of people think that with
keto you have to eat all this red meat
like I had some comments like I made
some ground turkey meatballs or
something and I had so many comments I
was like oh my gosh I can't believe that
you use ground turkey why wouldn't you
use ground beef well maybe I don't like
ground beef like who raised yeah like
come on grab first of all ground turkey
is protein still just like ground beef
yes ground beef has a lot more like fat
in it I get that I prefer to consume
plant-based fat so whenever I'm cooking
if I am using a lean meat I will add
olive oil I will add MCT oil I will add
things that are gonna give me the fat
I'll eat it with an avocado you know
what I mean like it just there's other
ways you don't have to use brown beef if
you don't want to the only fatty meat
that I like is a rib eye like you're not
gonna really catch me eating a fatty
meat oh and like salmon and stuff like
that let's have you know like fats in
them but yeah I just wanted to throw all
these things out there let me know if
y'all have any questions below if you're
confused I get a I get a lot of comments
where people are like oh my gosh I'm so
confused and I and I know I get it
because if you're watching a lot of
other YouTube videos I'm doing it
completely different than everybody else
but I definitely test my Kido levels
using my test strips and you grow is
Gucci over here okay sometimes yes I do
fall out of ketosis but at the end of
the day this whole low-carb thing is
working for me making sure that my fat
percentages are higher than my protein
and my carbs like it works it just works
for me so that's what I've been doing if
you don't want to y'all want me to stop
calling it keto cool like it's the
Chanel way okay we can just do that do
the Chanel dye

blog yesterday I was running errands all
over the place after that little
chitchat so I was just drinking like a
ton of water and then I ended up for
dinner really late actually having some
salmon that I just threw in a cast-iron
skillet a salmon filet and some sauteed
spinach with fresh garlic no salt or
anything I ate about half of it because
it was so late and I wasn't like I was
hungry because I had eaten but I wasn't
really that hungry cuz i was more sleepy
but yeah I hope you guys enjoyed the
video I tried on so many clothes last
night and everything went really really
well
